And Hexy says, as we’ve figured, that Ghost should be good to play Sat. vs. Rangers.

As reported by Courier-Post’s Dave Isaac and Philly.com’s Sam Carchidi, rookie defensemen Shayne Gostisbehere is expected to take over his normal role in the lineup for Saturday’s matinée against the Rangers. Ghost suffered a knee injury after colliding with Minnesota Wild forward Miko Koivu on the January 7th game at Xcel Energy Center.
It’s nice to see the young defensemen healthy again considering the Flyers need everyone to contribute down the stretch if they are to make the playoffs. Brandon Manning over the last two games has filled in admirably but it’s been relatively obvious that Gostisbehere brings an added dimension to the Flyers’ blueline.
