PICKS PICKS PICKS! Here are my picks for tonight’s prelim headliner and main card. Odds via OddShark

Prelims kick off at 6:00PM EST on ESPN

BANTAMWEIGHT BOUT: Sean O’Malley (-380) vs Jose Quinonez (+290)

So I’m actually pissed I missed this in my stock watch piece. Sugar Sean O’Malley is the next big UFC star. He has IT. The swag, the afro, the fighting style…he has it all to be a star. He’s going to murder Jose Quinonez and remain undefeated.

Main Card kicks off at 8:00PM EST on ESPN+ PPV.

WELTERWEIGHT BOUT: Alex Oliveira (-145) vs Max Griffin (+115)

The other, lesser know Cowboy of the UFC. Alec Oliveira has been around quite some time. He’s trying to avoid his 4th straight loss tonight, and to be honest, I think he does. Max Griffin actually took Colby Covington to 3 rounds before getting KO’ed. Oliveira via decision.

WELTERWEIGHT BOUT: Neil Magny (+150) vs Li Jingliang (-150)

See, not everyone I pick is always first. Jingliang is going for his 4th straight victory tonight and Neil Magny hasn’t fought since 2018. 6 of Jingliang’s 9 UFC victories are via KO, and I’m looking for him to add to that list tonight.

LIGHTWEIGHT BOUT: Beneil Dariush (-165) vs Drakkar Klose (+135)

Love a bout where it sounds like you have acid reflux when you try to say both fighter’s names. This is a hard one to call but I’m going with Klose here. The guy is 5-1-0 in the UFC but the guy on the other side of the cage is a submission freak and a KO candidate. If the main event wasn’t so good, this would be FOTN.

MMA: UFC Fight Night-Shenzhen-Andrade vs Weili

W STRAWWEIGHT TITLE BOUT: Zhang Weili (-190) vs Joanna Jedrzejczyk (+155)

Zhang Weili reminds me of Ivan Drago. She looks like a superhero or some kind of goddess. She’s stronger than you, has bigger muscles than you and scares the living shit out of you. I love Joanna and all, but she gets broken in half tonight. Weili via TKO.

MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE BOUT: Israel Adesanya (-280) vs Yoel Romero (+220)

I wish Yoel Romero never retires. He shouldn’t be in this fight, but Izzy needed an opponent. Yoel is 1-3-0 in his last 4, but here he is fighting for the belt. Adesanya is just 18-0-0 and won all 7 of his UFC fights. Sugar Sean and Israel Adesanya have the same swagger and same vibe and that’s why both of them are the next guys up. Adesanya defends the belt tonight.
